Fishing time

From 6:00pm-8:30pm


Weather conditions

Very nice day. around seventy.


Water conditions

Water level seems pretty low. flow normal. Did not take temp.


Insect activity

Lots of what looked like mayflys hatching at dark. Tons of them. And lots of other midges and some small caddis.


Fish hooked

Hooked about 4 fish and landed 2. Both were 8 inch browns.


Fly pattern used

Used a #14 BH Copper John in the faster parts of the stream.

Really learning how to nymph fish better now. really getting the hang of it, considering the fact i've only been really fly fishing for about a year.
