I caught this 15 inch brown trout on my 3 wt, 6 1/2 ft fly rod. He took a No 14 Nelson's Black Caddis in the tail of a deep pool on Cayuta Creek near Van Etten, Chemung County. -Keith Mathews

Karen Alexander and a beautiful steelhead from the Salmon River. This fish was taken with a chartreuse egg pattern dead drifted with two bb shot under an indicator.

Large Brown trout caught on a #18 Brassie in the West Canada Creek trophy section. Caught this last year before the floods and when the flows of the WCC were still manageable. Not sure how many of these big boys remain above the Newport Dam. -Alan Rohloff

There was a lot of fishing pressure and had to do some walking to get on the fish. Once we did we got into several fish and landed 5.

23" Rainbow Trout landed by Matt Chapple at Cayuga Inlet on a #12 Gold Bead Head Natural Hare’s Ear Wet.

12" Brown Trout caught by Matt Chapple with gorgeous markings and color was caught the Oriskany Creek on a Gold Bead Head Olive Wet. This fish comes from a section that is not stocked but relies on natural reproduction. The markings and color are absolutely gorgeous.

Matt Chapple caught this 18" Rainbow at the Trout Small Cayuga Lake Tributary on a #8 Gold Bead Head Olive Wet. I guy I met on the stream, Larry, was very courteous and agreed to take my picture.

14"(?) brown, upper fall creek, BHN passed on by a streamside angler. This fish was a scrappy fighter and one of the prettiest browns I've caught. -Alec (AJ)
